Our orthopaedic specialist will first ask you about your medical history, finding out about previous illnesses and surgeries, with a special focus on musculoskeletal history. He will then listen to your current complaints and perform a physical examination. During the orthopaedic examination, he will determine your status: examining by touch, movement and tests of the musculoskeletal system. Our orthopaedic specialist works with the help of a test method developed over decades, with the help of which many orthopaedic diseases and conditions can be diagnosed immediately.

If necessary, our specialist will suggest further examinations, other diagnostic procedures (MR, CT, X-ray or ultrasound), or possibly laboratory tests. The results of the physical examination and, if necessary, further examinations together give the exact diagnosis. We will then make a therapeutic proposal for you. We will then decide what conservative - ie non-surgical - or surgical solution is possible for your case. Conservative solutions include, for example, medication and/or injection therapies, and most commonly physiotherapy. If necessary, you can use the physiotherapy services at our Partner Institution.

In the case of surgery, we explain the procedure of the intervention and its purpose based on the principle of expected risk-benefit, as well as answer any questions you may have. One- or more-day orthopaedic surgery services are performed outside our premises, at our Partner.
